Initially commencing my career as a biochemist with a degree in Science, I later followed my passion for the legal industry, completing my legal studies while working in a top-tier legal firm for several years. After my admission as a Barrister, I pursued an in-house lawyer role with a leading financial institution.

At both these positions, my main focus area of practice was dispute resolution, litigation and insurance law, as well as being responsible for staff training on relevant legislation and relationship building with law firms throughout Queensland.

It is this extensive knowledge, experience and expertise that I proudly bring to my role as a recruiter today. I believe my vast knowledge as a lawyer truly enables me to take a more personalised approach to my role, partnering my candidates and clients with the right cultural fit for both.

I worked at empire group for nearly 5 years before moving in house to recruit for a Global Top-Tier legal firm for the past 2 years. I returned to empire in 2024 as a Partner – Legal Professional excited to contribute and develop the Legal team further to be leaders in the Legal recruitment space.

I pride myself on my highly-developed written and verbal skill set, which allows me to communicate with people of all levels of experience. I am honoured to be well-respected in the legal industry and have access to a broad network of both candidates and clients alike.

When I’m not at empire group, you’ll find me… with my family and friends who are such an important part of my life that my spare time will revolve around them……though a recent trek in Nepal has got me seeking out similar adventures.
